# O que é um Avalista ?

Um avalista, também conhecido como fiador, desempenha um papel importante no processo de financiamento. Eles atuam como uma espécie de garantia, ajudando na aprovação do financiamento e assegurando que o pagamento do valor devido pelo curso seja efetuado, caso o aluno não cumpra com as prestações.

Em outras palavras, o avalista se compromete a honrar as obrigações financeiras em nome do aluno, garantindo o pagamento do curso em caso de inadimplência. Ter um avalista sólido pode ser um fator-chave para a aprovação de um financiamento, pois oferece segurança adicional ao credor.

O avalista desempenha um papel fundamental ao proporcionar confiança e respaldo financeiro, tornando possível para mais alunos acessarem oportunidades educacionais por meio de financiamento.
